Beginning with five new releases on August 31, ECM records will enter into a new licensing and distribution agreement for North America with the Universal Classics group. Two more new titles will follow on September 7th and four jazz discs are planned for October. In addition, Universal plans to make the entire back catalog of approximately 700 titles available in the course of the coming year.
