Charles Ives Fellowship: Gregory T. S. Walker

Gregory T. S. Walker is Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver and concertmaster of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. His compositions have been performed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Boulder Philharmonic, and the Cleveland Chamber Symphony. He has been honored with four ASCAP Special Awards and the University of Colorado at Denver School of the Arts Excellence in Creative Work Award. He earned his D.M.A. for the University of Colorado-Boulder, a Master of Arts degree from Mills College, a Master of Arts degree from University of California-San Diego, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Music and English from Indiana University.
