Chris came to WGUC late in 1998 after ten years with the Nebraska Public Radio Network, where his variety of roles included Music Director and creator/host of the popular classical new release program Wet Paint. Chris has produced radio documentaries and features for Nebraska Public Radio, National Public Radio and Monitor Radio. He is also a former tuba player with the Plymouth Brass, Nebraska Chamber Orchestra, Lincoln and Omaha Symphonies among others. His particularly memorable performances included sharing the stage with The Canadian Brass and backing up Steve Allen, Dave Brubeck and Peter Nero.
