As much as possible, I look for a part in the creative process, to have a room in the piece.

Ideally, the composer should take me out of the pianistic routine, and create sounds that I, or any listener for that matter, have never heard before. I dream of ideas so new and radical as to push me to develop completely new techniques—or even an 11th finger!

And, oh yes, I would be most content if sometimes the score is mistake-free…
