Britney may have embarrassed herself royally this week, but over on our side of the aisle we’re all gussied up and strutting our stuff in our own ridiculous ways. And I do begin to suspect that Hatto’s name is giving Lohan’s a run for it in Google’s search rankings.

Just when it seems like we might be on the verge of playing nice with the other kids, the playground fight starts again. I’m not sure a newly proposed naming strategy will help boost the relevancy quotient and cut down on the teasing. More scatological humor, however, just might. Sigh.

Eh, but music is so over anyway. Robert Gable’s LastFM Mainstream-O-Meter reading ranks his eclectic tastes at 24.79 percent, but he’s not apologizing. And if you can’t bring yourself to blame the content, blame the file format. Or just quit, take your baton, and go home. We’ll entertain ourselves, thank you very much.
