The Aaron Copland Fund for Music, Inc. has awarded grants totaling $575,000 to performing ensembles across America through its 2006 Performing Ensembles Program. Eighty organizations received awards in recognition of their commitment to contemporary American music. Among the organizations supported are the Adorno Ensemble, Voices of Change, American Composers Orchestra, Jazz Composers Alliance, EarPlay, and the Firebird Ensemble.
