The 11th Annual Latin Grammy nominations have been announced, highlighting a diverse group of music makers across numerous genres. The winners will be revealed on Nov. 11 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas when the 2010 Latin GRAMMY Awards air live on the Univision Network from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT.

In the category of Best Classical Contemporary Composition, the nominees are Miguel Del Aguila (Clocks); Sergio Assad (Interchange and Maracaípe); Lalo Schifrin (Pampas); Orlando Jacinto Garcia (Silencios Imaginados); and Tania Leon (To and Fro (Four Moods)).

Bridge Record’s release Salon Buenos Aires picked up a nomination in the Best Classical Album category, as did Integral Quartetos De Cuerda (Sello Autor); Old Havana. Chamber Music Vol. 1 (Rycy Productions, Inc.); Tchaikovsky—Manfred (Biscoito Clásico); Vital (World Village); and William Kraft: Encounters (Cambria).
